Winter tea and its usefulness!

  • Ginger tea
Ginger tea has tonic property, it recovers clarity of thought, and thereby it is especially indicated for people of intellectual work and creative occupations. The root of ginger promotes blood thinning, therefore many eastern doctors consider that ginger is relating to agents for prevention of tumors. Ginger tea also promotes digestion and is very beneficial to skin color. Hot ginger tea with lemon is one of the best means for prevention of cold.
Ingredients:
-1 l of water,
-3 Tbsp of ginger gratings (or slices),
-3 Tbsp of honey,
-pinch of ground black pepper,
-1 lemon or orange,
cut mint leaves (optionally).
Preparation:
Place grated ginger in boiling water. Carefully filter in a cup after few minutes. Then add pepper, lemon (orange), mint and honey. Serve hot.
  • Sea-buckthorn tea
Sea-buckthorn is valuable herb with a huge reserve of vitamins. It contains twice as much useful vitamin C, than citrus plants, and twice as much vitamin E, than wheat oil. Sea-buckthorn also contains other vitamins as well as antioxidants and polyunsaturated fatty acids which are responsible for healthy and young appearance of skin and have strong anti-inflammatory action. Tea with sea-buckthorn and honey is very good antidepressant.
Ingredients:
-150 g of sea-buckthorn,
-2 Tbsp of black tea,
-2 Tbsp of honey,
-500 ml of water.
Preparation:
Wash berries of sea-buckthorn well, crush 2/3 in puree using spoon. Place sea-buckthorn puree, other berries and black tea in teapot. Cover with boiling water, muffle up and let it draw from 10 to 15 minutes. Pour out ready tea in cups through strainer, having added honey according to taste. You can prepare this drink without black tea.
  • Moroccan mint tea with cinnamon
Mint tea is universal drink. It can be drunk cold and hot. It inspirits in the morning, adds forces and helps with digestion at dinnertime, and relaxes ideally in the evening. Try to make Moroccan mint tea according to our recipe.
Ingredients:
-1-2 cinnamon sticks,
-4 clove sprigs,
- orange peel,
-lemon or lime peel,
-dried ginger (3 slices),
-1 lime,
-1-2 pieces of brown sugar,
-mint bundle,
-3 tsp of black loose tea,
-500 ml of water.
Preparation:
Cut peel from orange and lemon, cut into strips, rumple mint in hand and in teapot with mortar. Place 2 cinnamon sticks in teapot, add clove, orange and lemon peel, cut lemon or lime, ginger, 2 pieces of brown sugar, mint, 3 tea spoons of tea and cover with boiling water. Tea is ready!
  • Tea with rosehip and honey
Rosehips are rich with vitamin C and tanning substances which have very positive impact on digestion. This tea helps to lower excess cholesterol in organism. Our composition of tea makes it excellent means for maintenance of immunity.
Ingredients:
-20 g of rosehips,
-15 g of honey,
-5 g of lemon juice,
-200 ml of water.
Preparation:
Cut dried rosehips very small, cover with boiling water, boil during 10 minutes in enamel cookware closed with lid, then let it draw during 10 minutes. Filter herbal tea, add honey and lemon juice.
  • Camomile tea with mint
Camomile tea removes inflammation, calms nervous system and reliefs from insomnia. Camomile reduces blood sugar level and inhibits enzymes promoting development of complications of diabetes. Also, recently it has been proved that camomile inhibits growth of cancer cells.
Ingredients:
-1 tsp of black tea
-1 tsp of chamomile flowers
-1 tsp of mint
-1,5 glass of water
Preparation:
Cover camomile, tea and mint with boiling water and ingrain during 10 minutes. Filter herbal tea. You can add honey when serving the tea. Back to list
